What if there was a place, a collection of venues, where young individuals could embark on a transformative journey towards sustainable fashion, skill mastery, and active community engagement? Introducing, Sewcial. Sewcial provides a warm environment for the youth of Dubai to hang out and connect with like-minded peers, beyond the confines of their home or school.
Designer
As part of the SEWCiAL team, I took on the responsibilities of Designer, 3D Modeller, and Content Writer. As a designer, I worked on the brand and website design. The design team finalised the face of the brand and established standardised style and sizing guidelines for both mobile and desktop platforms. These guidelines were subsequently utilised during the frontend development process, maintaining uniformity in typography, icons,and margins.
After the initial stage of creating rough wireframes, the workload of developing a design prototype for the website was split between members of the design team.
3D Modeller
As one of the 3D modellers, I handled the modelling of the building’s exterior with the use of Blender. This model would become the scene that greets website visitors when they load the Sewcial site.
