With intensive testing, we discovered that the previously soldered button matrix did not work as expected. To fix the issue, we decided to take the risk and remake the entire button matrix. With our extra stash of buttons on hand, we employed the use of hot glue to connect and insulate the buttons to the wires. Although this is an unorthodox method, the buttons don't appear to generate enough heat to cause any major issues.
Just within 2-3 days, we successfully completed the entire matrix remake. Suprisingly, this revised approach proved to be significantly more efficient compared to the previous month-long endeavor of soldering the connections. The remade button matrix now functions as intended, marking a notable improvement in our progress.
