A motion sensor experiment involved the use of a PIR motion sensor and an LED to visualise the presence of motion. The LED would blink and information was displayed in the console whenever motion was detected.

Parts Required

Instructions

1. Connect VCC pin on the PIR motion sensor to 5V on the Arduino.
2. Connect Ground pin on the PIR motion sensor to the Ground pin on the Arduino.
3. Connect Output pin on the PIR motion sensor to Digital pin number 3.
4. Insert the LED on the Arduino, with positive lead on digital pin 13 and the other on the Ground.
5. Paste the following code to your Arduino IDE.
